The models listed below are simply cable variants as there is only one ScanCam body (pictured). If your scanner model is not listed in our database, please contact us with information about your POS hardware. To date, we have been able to accommodate most scanners by simply creating a new cable assembly (min. order quantity applies).

ScanCam Connection Options
ScanCam DS.E4A10-RJ (was ScanCam – LSM)
Leverage’s the 10-pin AUX port and the 4-pin EAS port. Works on all the 8000/8500 series scanner/scales that use these ports. If either the AUX port or EAS port are in use, we have Y-splitters that allow two devices to be connected. (see accessories). Cables are in-stock and ready to ship.
ScanCam DS.E10-RJ
Leverage’s the 10-pin EAS port. Should work on all 98xx series scanner/scales that use this port. Cables are in-stock and ready to ship.
N.B The EAS port on these scanners is multi-function and can be configured for automatic tag deactivation when used with a Checkpoint or Sensormatic EAS system. This cable may not work if the port is configured this way.
SC-USBHID
A complete USB interface kit with ScanCam included. Connects in series with the scanners USB cable and reads the simulated ‘Return’ or ‘Enter’ key sent after a successful read. USB module and ScanCam are powered from the host PC’s USB port. USB in/out are standard USB type A sockets so this version will not work with scanners connected using powered USB plugs.
For use with all scanners that utilise a 4P4C (RJ9) connector for EAS. Typically used on the PSC (now Datalogic) range from model 381 right through to the 8500 series where the EAS port is in use.
All scanners that utilise a 8P8C connector (RJ45). Allows the ScanCam and the host PC to be connected to the same port.
N.B If splitting the main comms cable (scanner connector), approval may be required by the customers IT/POS department or by the scanner vendor.
All scanners that utilise a 10P10C connector (RJ50).
