NCR 7876/7878 connection option coming…

We are in the process of putting into production a ScanCam cable assembly that will allow connectivity to the latest NCR scanners.

This cable variant will fit the latest 7878 scanners that are often used in self-scan applications. It will also fit the older 7876 scanners and the 7872 scanners (pictured) that have the EAS option fitted.

Simply plug one cable into the EAS port and the other into a spare AUX port and you’re up and running. Target release date is Q2/2010 although samples are available now for testing. Order Code Part # ScanCam N7876/8-E2A8.
