Winn-Dixie deploys ScanCam in Florida store
Auckland, NZ, Feb 22nd 2011 – Zenith Asset Management, a leading provider of shrink reduction technology for retailers, today announced that Winn-Dixie has chosen the ScanCam product for their new store in Margate, Florida which opened June 9th.
Loss Prevention staff in one of the trial stores saw an immediate impact after deploying the ScanCam and were pleased with an undocumented benefit – a significant reduction in the time it takes to review video.
Winn-Dixie first saw the ScanCam anti-sweethearting device during its debut at the NRF Expo in LA, June 2009. They immediately proceeded with a trial and several versions were built to accommodate various scanning technologies within their organization. The Margate store is leveraging the company’s new version which seamlessly integrates with the NCR 7878 flatbed scanner/scales.
